About Me

A Bit of Background

I am a writing, rhetoric, and technical communication student with a minor in environmental studies. My love for the environment began in my youth as a summer intern at Claude Moore Park and carried with me into my enrollment at JMU. I felt called to use my skills as a writer and communicator to advocate for the environment and non-profit ventures. My main skills involve clean, accessible user-centric graphic and web design, and technical writing abilities. I hope to use the skills I've acquired in my education and work experience to advocate for the environment in conservation and environmental organizations by spreading awareness.

My main skills involve clean, accessible user-centric graphic and web design, and technical writing abilities. I hope to continue working in environmental and nonprofit organizations to use my academic skills for missions that I can be passionate about. As my career evolves, I look forward to continuously learning new skills and knowledge that can be applied outside of these sectors. In the future, I hope to pursue a Master's degree in technical communication or design.

Outside of work and education, I dabble in photography (particularly nature photography) and art. I also enjoy plant care, terrarium creation, aquascaping, fishkeeping, isopod husbandry, reading, and enjoying the outdoors with my dog.
